I reviewed a band from South Cumbria called Mindless a little while back, available on the Reviews section of this site. Whilst I maintain everything said about the musicianship, standard and overall content of the EP, i must apologise for suggesting that Bright Blue studios (where the press release said it had been cut) may have been the "...figment of a Mindless imagination."
I saw an interview on ITV Lookaround with the owner of the studio and felt compelled to apologise for perhaps suggesting that such a place did not even exist. Im quite appalled at myself, as a degree student of journalism and popular music that I did not even carry out such basic research prior to writing the review. This will not happen again.
Equally however, I feel that for an EP that WAS recorded professionally, the quality of it was akin to a home demo. My views still stand on your band - you are good, but need more experience and perhaps a different studio for the next recording which I look forward to hearing.
Cheers,
ADL
