i hope it dont snow.......... Quality, the staff at the venue are turning almost everyone away, which in turn is making it less fun to be there and putting a massive downer on the night, but you're worried about it snowing....

age restrictions always depends on the license.
for live music venues tey can usually swing the 14+, but not always. also, when you open as 14+ all the time, you do get a lot of kids taking the piss. most of them are fine, but there's always a few that bring bottles of vodka / whiskey etc. into the building, and its just a pain in the arse for those working there.
It also inreases costs, as you've got to get extra members of staff in to keep an eye on things, and you make no money at all if the venue is full of people who can't drink.
I know its shit, and I certainly don't agree with it, but I just thought I'd point out the venue's point of view, speaking from experience and all that.
Have no fear though, Brickyard isn't about to ditch its 14-18 year old friends!
