So after conversing some week with san fransico's politest body building street fighter about yet to be disclosed factors, it appears that Seminal ALbini recorded 90's San Fran band OXBOW will be playing a special acoustic set at the brickyard with manatees 25th may. this is entiled OXBOW PRESENTS "LOVE'S HOLIDAY". They will be touring with ISIS in the same week as well. Dont be fooled by acoustic. This is still the band fronted by a big black naked street fighter who will pummel you if you get too close. Their new album "the Narcotic story" is out JUNE 5th, through Hydra head records. Manatees will be playing their debut album "the forever ending jitter quest of slowhand chuckle walker" live in it's entirity. Some songs we'll be playing live for the first time and some playing live for the last time. There will be another band opening TBC. Tickets are £6 on the door but are availalbe in advance off any of us for £4. Please come. Other wise Eugene Robinson of oxbow WILL sleep choke me. Sorry for the poster had a day to do so I just drew it by hand.

Amazing. Sadly, I won't be there.
The guide to fighting is funny as fuck. You better be scared.

better than your band. Better than my band. better than lots of bands. You missed out, big time. as did the other people who left. although it did give it an intimate feel to the show. Best bit was when that guy came sooooo close to getting a his arse kicked by Eugene Robinson. He just didnt know what could have been. They were the nicest politest people I've met in a long time. if you get a chance to catch them on the Isis tour , well do. We're currently mixing the manatees track which eugene guessed on. Sounds incredible.

Best thing I've ever seen at the Brickyard Best bit was their cover of Girl by the Beatles
Makes you more depressed thinking about the usual deluge of overhyped, soulless excuses for musicians that frequently pack the place out.

Might be going to see them with Isis and Boris in London, I hope. I look forward to it. Glad it went well.
