If anyone has any proof, or can find any, that Let Airplanes Circle Overhead once played with a grunge band called Project A at the Brickyard it would be very handy.
I think it happened, James thinks I'm wrong. I know they played a couple of times and some idiot broke his back dancing to them or something, but confirmation we actually played with them would be lovely, and would set my mind at ease.

Looks like I win David. Once again, never question me. Or do you still think Refused named their last album in honour of Ornette Coleman?

No, they named their the Shape of Punk to Come after the Sound of Punk to Come, an Born Against record. Don Devore (of ink and dagger, icarus line etc) told them that the Born Against record was probably named after Coleman. Theyre bringing a film out about Coleman I think.
Anyways, cheer Alex, but As An Enemy only played one gig and I dont think it was with Project A, it was with Starla and someone else of that ilk. The search continues...

No way, with John as bassist, as As An Enemy, we only played once at the Richmond. When James joined, we became Let Airplanes. I swear! James and Luke will back me up. But we definately played with Project A. Thank god. I thought I was going mad. I remember dropping their drummers cymbol, and being a little terrified.

Go and listen to your Tommy Vance on the Radio records, and stop worrying about this stuff.
