This is probably going to be the best gig Carlisle has ever seen, without a shadow of a doubt.

Its gonna be such a good gig it warrants being mentioned three months before it acutally happens. And warrants the fucking hassle of me getting back from university to play for 40 minutes. If anyone doesn't have the latest magnetophone album, i suggest you buy it - its indescribable. I haven't seen them live but I hear its worth travelling the country for. Plus, Sonic Boom, which speaks for itself.

Yeah it should be fucking special.
Its really strange sorting out this gig, Sonic is one of my all-time hero's and inspirations, the music he creates and has created is the greatest music of alltime and on top of that he is a cool fucker with the attitude to match. In my opinion there is no-one who will ever or has stepped foot in The Brickyard that touches that man and i know how much it will mean to others too.

I love Magnetophone, and Sonic Boom, but guys... isn't this getting a bit Morrissey-esque?

As in male platonic devotion to another male. Hero-worship. Of which the ultimate example is Morrissey and his legions of (straight) male fans. I think it's sweet.

Definitely!
I do find it pretty strange, but fascinating that most my heros, and probably for most other males, are male.
Anyway i better calm down about this gig incase i jinx it!

Advance tickets are now available on Ticketweb for £5. The number is 08700 600 100.
There is a Brickyard poster stating that they are 7 quid but we have changed the price, a Beatin' Planks poster will be up shortly with full info.

I havn't heard either of the headline acts, however I'm quite fond of Let Airplanes and it's been a while since ive been to the yard, so I'm there...but only as long as James either keeps his beard, or grows it again for the gig.
