Figure 5 seem okay Blair. Just clear one thing up? I'm not trying to pick a fight or whatever, but you're almost saying "get on this band before they get huge" kind of thing. Which is fine. But you did that with the Fratellis and now seem a bit jaded with them because they became huge? I dinnae understand.

It's all about the search for a new bandwagon.

But there is nothing better than finding a band early doors and watching it all begin. The Fratellis stardom is spiralling out of control and they are everywhere. TV adverts, apple adverts, movie soundtracks, tv program soundtracks. You name it, you'll hear it. No matter how much you like a band, it can get a bit boring and tedious watching from afar. That's all. Nothing malicious you know? But i've been mates with and known Figure 5 much longer than i knew the Fratelli lads and will be great to see them take off this year and i look forward to the journey.

They played The Brickyard? Signed to Ecstatic Peace? I saw them at ATP and they were quite good. yep, they have supported sonic youth and the white stripes, the girl drummer was awesome, and also she had an MC5 shirt (E=MC5) and later on in the night and she went up to noddy and started singing TV Eye (after i told her that we covered it) full blast in his ear..quality

Probably the best full line up The Brickyard has seen in a very, very long time.
